From Levante to Poniente
Benidorm is a city of towers, and that changes how air conditioning gets installed. In the high-rises of Levante, Rincón de Loix and Poniente the outdoor unit sits on terraces exposed to wind and salt, sometimes many floors up, so it has to be fixed and protected properly.
In the old town and Els Tolls the buildings are lower and the apartments smaller: compact splits and multi-splits with a single outdoor unit work best. Rincón Alto is full of holiday lets, where a unit that cools well and doesn't smell is part of the review.
